Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, who else sees it, and the rights you hold over it.
- Applies to
- cloudalgo.com
- In force since
- August 2026
- Clauses
- 12
- Governing law
- India
- Issued by
- CloudAlgo Private Limited
CloudAlgo Private Limited ("CloudAlgo", "we", "us", or "our") operates cloudalgo.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.
Using the Site means the information described here is collected as described. Analytics run on every visit. The cookie notice tells you what is recorded; it does not gate anything, and dismissing it neither starts nor stops any measurement. Clause 5 sets out how to stop the recording, and clause 7 how to ask us to erase what has already been collected about you.
Information we collect¶
Information you provide to us
- Contact form submissions — name, email address, and message content when you reach out through our contact page.
- Meeting scheduling — name, email address, your timezone, any notes you enter, and the email address of every additional guest you add when booking a call through our scheduling widget. Adding a guest gives us their address as well as yours.
- Email correspondence — messages and attachments sent directly to our email addresses.
Information collected by analytics
The Site is a set of static files and we run no server of our own that logs your visit. Everything below is collected by the analytics tools named in clause 4, on every visit, from the moment the page loads.
- Usage data — pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
- IP address — used for geographic analytics and security.
- Cookies and local storage — small data files placed on your device. See clause 5.
How we use your information¶
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you have requested.
- To schedule and conduct discovery calls and project consultations.
- To send relevant project proposals, status updates, and invoices.
- To improve the content and functionality of our Site.
- To analyse aggregate usage trends using anonymised data.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)¶
If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing your data is:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to contact form enquiries | Legitimate interests / pre-contractual steps |
| Delivering agreed consulting services | Contract performance |
| Site analytics | Legitimate interests — measuring how the Site is used |
| Legal obligations (tax, compliance) | Legal obligation |
We state this plainly rather than claim a consent we do not collect: analytics load on every visit and we do not ask you to accept them first. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may ask us to erase what has been collected about your visits — clause 7 explains how, and clause 5 explains how to stop the collection yourself.
Data sharing¶
We may share your information with:
- HubSpot — processes contact form submissions and stores the enquiry. See HubSpot's Privacy Policy.
- Google (Apps Script) — runs the scheduling widget and processes the meeting bookings made through it. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics — site usage analytics, loaded on every visit.
- Microsoft Clarity — session analytics, loaded on every visit.
- Legal and compliance — if required by law or court order.
All third-party processors are contractually obliged to protect your data and may only use it for the purposes we specify.
Cookies and tracking¶
We use the following types of cookies:
| Type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Essential | Required for the Site to function correctly, including recording that you have seen the cookie notice. |
| Analytics | Understand how visitors use the Site. Loaded on every visit. |
| Functional | Remember your preferences, such as the timezone used for scheduling. |
Analytics load on every visit, so your browser is where you turn them off: it can block cookies for this site, delete the ones already stored, or refuse third-party cookies outright, and any of those takes effect before our code runs. Blocking them does not affect your access to any part of the Site, though it may affect features that remember a preference.
Advertising. This Site loads no advertising or retargeting tag, and we run no retargeting audiences from it. Our Google Analytics property is linked to a Google Ads account for conversion measurement, and the Site's consent declaration reports advertising permissions as granted so that measurement is not degraded. If you would rather not be measured this way, the browser controls above stop the collection at source.
Data retention¶
- Contact form submissions — retained for 24 months or until the enquiry is resolved, whichever is longer.
- Client project data — retained for 8 years, matching the period the Companies Act, 2013 requires books of account and related records to be preserved.
- Analytics data — retained in anonymised, aggregated form for up to 26 months.
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights¶
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@cloudalgo.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Security¶
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or alteration. All data transmission over the Site uses HTTPS encryption.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide information at your own risk.
Third-party services and links¶
Our Site may link to third-party websites including GitHub, LinkedIn, and the Salesforce AppExchange. These sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites and encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.
